The Vancouver Canucks.
Granted there is a TON of hockey to be played, and this is an iffy proposition at best. Last year they picked the Flyers - which looked like a complete blunder, until they squeaked into the playoffs on the last day of the season, and then almost proved them right!
On paper, I agree with this - but that's not taking into account any of the intangibles. Chicago should be strong, but a quick perusal of their depth chart shows lots of question marks, especially at left wing.
I think the media gets a little carried away in their fawning over Byfuglien, but there is no denying he's a difference maker against Vancouver. So losing him could prove costly if Chicago and Vancouver meet again in the playoffs.
I haven't given it a lot of thought, but I'm thinking a bounce back year for Malkin, a better defense, and a decent rest might have the Penguins back winning it all.

Nah pens don't have it...
my reason for hating pens fans is that they will accept mediocrity and failure for x amount of years, they get a bunch of #1 picks , win 2 cups and disappear for another 10 years
so the pens are hitting their expiration so no go on them!
