The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed veteran defenceman Randy Jones to a one-year contract.
Jones tallied five goals and 16 assists in 48 games for Los Angeles last season, his first and only with the club.
He was originally signed as a free agent by Philadelphia in 2003 after his collegiate career at Clarkson University.
